Canadian Business is the longest-publishing
business magazine in Canada. It was founded in 1928 as The Commerce of the
Nation, the organ of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. The magazine was renamed
Canadian Business in 1933. The association with the Chamber of Commerce ended in
1977. It is owned by Rogers Communications.

The Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) is a trade
association for the jewellery industry in Canada. It was founded in 1918 and is
based in Toronto. It claimed responsibility for the repeal on May 2, 2006 of
Canada's federal excise tax on jewellery, introduced about 90 years earlier as a
levy on luxury goods.

The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA)
represents over 97,000 Realtors (including brokers, agents, and salespeople)
across Canada.
The Association owns the Multiple Listing Service or MLS trademark and the
Realtor trademarks in Canada. Local real estate Boards or Associations operate a
local data base under a licensing agreement with the national association. The
Canadian Real Estate Association also operates the realtor.ca (previously mls.ca)
and ICX.CA web sites on behalf of all members.

The Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices
Association or CRFA is an industry and advocacy group organizing the Canadian
restaurant, foodservice and catering industry.
In Canada, more than a million entrepreneurs and their employees produce over
$53 billion in gross sales of prepared meals. The CRFA provides services to its
members in the industry, including advice and advocacy on regulatory matters.

Export Development Canada (EDC) is Canada's export
credit agency. It is a Crown corporation wholly owned by the Government of
Canada, which provides financing and risk management services to Canadian
exporters and investors in up to 200 markets worldwide, with 17 offices spread
across all provinces in Canada, and permanent representations in 14 foreign
markets.
